Many parents choose homeschooling for religious reasons. If you are one of them, then you want your child to learn directly from the Bible. Concise Curriculum has developed the solution on how to teach your child the Bible while learning essential reading and language skills. Integrating the Bible with Reading and Language Arts Skills is a homeschool curriculum that integrates the Bible with reading and language arts skills to include: reading comprehension, main idea, cause and effect, context clues, sequencing, fact and opinion, parts of speech, grammar and usage, kinds of sentences, and writing skills. Integrating the Bible with Reading and Language Arts Skills is a great way to teach children the Bible. Each unit starts with scripture reading. Students then reflect upon that reading and personalize what the scripture means to them. Our first book, Volume I, has two levels: upper elementary and lower elementary. Upper elementary concentrates on 4th and 5th grade reading and language skills, while lower elementary concentrates on 2nd and 3rd grade skills. Of course, advanced first graders would love the lower elementary version as well.
